Tottenham face Juventus on Wednesday night in the Champions League.

Juventus midfielder Blaise Matuidi has been quoted by Sky Italy journalist Gianluca Di Marzio’s website as saying that the Italian champions are more than capable of beating Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night.
The 30-year-old, who joined Juventus in the summer from French giants Paris Saint-Germain, missed the first leg last month due to a hamstring injury but returned to action on Sunday as Juve beat Lazio in Serie A.
He is set to start alongside Miralem Pjanic and Sami Khedira in midfield as Juve look to overturn Spurs’ slender lead following a 2-2 draw in Turin that sees Spurs currently hold an advantage due to the away goals rule.

France international Matuidi is confident Juve can progress into the quarter finals of the Champions League despite Spurs’ away goals, and delivered an update on Gonzalo Higuain’s ankle injury.
“Wembley is a beautiful stadium, I had the pleasure of playing there with the national team,” Matuidi said. “Wednesday won’t be simple, Tottenham is a team that plays well with the ball.
“They are arriving from a good period in their season and have done excellent things in the Champions League, including the first leg against us. However we are going to London to win and to score, if we play how we know, and with the helps of our fans, like in Rome, it is possible.
“Higuain? He is recovering in the best way, I hope he is with us when we travel tomorrow.”

Matuidi will be joined by Argentine forward Paulo Dybala who also missed the first leg, but Higuain remains a huge doubt ahead of the fixture due to the ankle problem he picked up in a 1-0 win over Torino last month.
Mauricio Pochettino has almost a whole squad to choose from, with only Toby Alderweireld missing after suffering a setback in his aim to return to the side following a hamstring injury he sustained against Real Madrid.
