Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Manchester United reportedly want Matthijs de Ligt of Ajax.

The Daily Star has claimed of Tottenham’s interest in signing De Ligt from Ajax in the summer transfer window, while The Mirror has claimed that Liverpool want the 19-year-old central defender.
United are also interested in the Netherlands international, according to The Telegraph, which claims that the “thought of being the poster boy of the rebuild at Old Trafford does still hold some appeal” to the teenager.
Liverpool and Tottenham can offer Champions League football to the youngster and United cannot, but what the Red Devils can offer him is regular first-team football.

De Ligt will slot straight into the starting lineup at United and will be main defender at the back, while he will find competition from Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld at Tottenham.
True, the teenager will have compatriot Virgil van Dijk as his mentor in defence at Liverpool, he will be in the former Celtic’s shadow for a while.
At United, De Ligt will be the leader at the back and will grow even more as a footballer.
