Manchester United star Jesse Lingard and Tottenham Hotspur ace Dele Alli are England international teammates.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino recently told The Guardian that England international midfielder Alli is the best young player in the world.
Former Arsenal defender Upson, though, has suggested that Lingard, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, has been better than his England international teammate.

Upson told Sky Sports: “I would say out of consistency and affecting big games, I think Lingard may have edged Alli this season in his performances.”

Lingard much older than Alli
Alli is one of the most talented young players in the world, but the Tottenham star has not been very consistent this season.
In terms of this season only, Lingard has probably been better, as he has been more consistent and has produced strong performances quite regularly.
The United attacker has scored eight goals and provided four assists in 15 Premier League starts for United, while Alli has scored six goals and provided nine assists in 28 league starts for Tottenham.
However, the ages of the two players must be considered. While Alli is only 21, Lingard is four years older at 25 and cannot be categorised as a ‘young’ player.
