Leeds United won against Oxford United in a pre-season friendly match at Elland Road on Saturday.
Everton-owned defender Matthew Pennington has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at making his debut for Leeds United at Elland Road.
Pennington, who can operate as central defender or as a right-back, featured for Leeds in the pre-season friendly match against Oxford United at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon.
The 22-year-old, signed on a season-long loan deal from Premier League outfit Everton in the summer transfer window, started the game and played for the entire 90 minutes.

Leeds continued their pre-season preparations with a 2-0 victory. Kemar Roofe put the Whites in the lead in the 35th minute, and Stuart Dallas doubled the advantage for the Championship club on 84 minutes.
Pennington has taken to Twitter to express his delight at playing for Leeds at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon, and so have midfielder Mateusz Klich and forward Samuel Saiz.
Meanwhile, Oxford manager Pep Clotet has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the final result. The Spaniard was the assistant head coach at Leeds last season.
