Former Tottenham Hotspur winger Matthew Etherington has suggested on social networking site Twitter that West Ham United attacking midfielder Manuel Lanzini is wasted on the left-hand side.
The former West Ham winger made the observation following the Hammers’ 2-0 defeat to Watford away from home at Vicarage Road in the Premier League at the weekend.
The 24-year-old Argentina international started the match on Sunday evening and played for the entire 90 minutes.

Lanzini was deployed on the left wing during the first half and failed to make an impact.

The loss to Watford means that West Ham are third from bottom in the Premier League table at the moment with just nine points from 12 matches.
