Tottenham Hotspur supporters have taken to Twitter to react over seeing a photograph of Giovanni Lo Celso back at the training ground.

It’s been a very difficult season for the Argentina international in North London.

Lo Celso tends to yoyo in and out of Tottenham’s squad due to injury but that’s particularly been true of this season.

The former Paris Saint-Germain playmaker has only managed 210 minutes of Premier League football since August.

And only 19 minutes of that figure came under new manager Antonio Conte.

Some Tottenham players have performed in a big way since Conte has taken the reins from Nuno Espirito Santo, like Harry Winks and Lucas Moura.

And it’s been frustrating for Lilywhites fans that they’ve seen virtually nothing from Lo Celso under the famed Italian coach.

However, the South American maestro is back at Hotspur Way and looks to be in full training.

Here’s how some Tottenham supporters reacted:

Earn your stripes

As mentioned, Winks has looked a revelation for the North Londoners under Conte and therefore Lo Celso will have to earn his place back.

In fact, he wasn’t even a regular fixture in Nuno’s XI prior to Conte’s arrival, so you could argue that Winks’s revival makes it even tougher.

Evident by the fans’ reaction, they aren’t overly optmistic of him staying fit for very long.

It’s a shame that Lo Celso has such rotten luck with injury because he can make a real difference to Tottenham and hopefully for him, Conte and the fanbase, he can stay fit.
