Matthew Upson has told Premier League Productions that not many people realise just how fast Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish is.
Grealish caught the eye yesterday, as Villa beat Arsenal 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium.
The playmaker even managed to burst past Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin to help Villa scored their third goal, as he set up Ollie Watkins.
And Upson says that Grealish isn’t given enough credit for how quick he actually is.
“People don’t realise how quick Jack Grealish is,” he said. “To run with the ball and outrun Bellerin is no mean feat, but he did it easily.”
Grealish certainly does have a turn of pace, but his skill in possession can make him look fairly languid.

Grealish plays with such ease that even when he is doing things at speed he looks so comfortable.
The Villa captain is beginning to earn the plaudits that he deserves now though, as his form has been nothing short of remarkable this term.
Grealish has helped Villa rise into sixth place in the Premier League table, which represents a very encouraging start to the season for them.
