Queens Park Rangers striker Matt Smith has taken to social networking site Twitter to thank the Leeds United fans.
Smith featured for QPR in the Championship game against Leeds away from home at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon.
The 27-year-old striker started the match and played for 78 minutes, as it ended in a goalless draw.
The Englishman played for Leeds during the 2013-14 season before joining Championship rivals Fulham. Smith switched to QPR from the Cottagers in the January transfer window.
Smith has taken to Twitter to thank the Leeds fans at Elland Road for their reception on Saturday afternoon.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon, hosts Leeds had 63% of the possession, took six shots of which none was on target, and earned six corners, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors QPR had just 37% of the possession, took 13 shots of which three were on target, and earned five corners, according to BBC Sport.
QPR are 15th in the Championship table at the moment with 47 points from 37 matches.
