Matt Ritchie has made nine appearances for Newcastle United so far.

Matt Ritchie has told the Daily Mirror that he is loving his time at Newcastle United so far.
Ritchie was a £12 million summer signing for Newcastle from Bournemouth (Daily Mail), and his addition at St. James’ Park caught the eye.
The Scotland international impressed in the Premier League with Bournemouth, but he opted to take a step down to the Championship.

And Ritchie appears to have no regrets over making the move, after starting well with the Magpies.
“I’m loving it. I feel like if I just relax, play my own game and just let it happen then I can bring some quality by providing goals and assists,” Ritchie said.
“The reason I joined is not because of the situation we’re in. Don’t get me wrong it’s a challenge I relish and that I think everyone at the club is relishing.

“But the reason I wanted to join Newcastle United is because it’s a massive club and when it’s back in the Premier League it will get back to being a big, big top-flight club.”
Ritchie is already playing a key role in Rafael Benitez’s first-team, and he has played nine times to date.
Ritchie has scored on two occasions and supplied a number of assists to his teammates, with his latest display against Wolverhampton Wanderers catching the eye.
Ritchie seems likely to start in Newcastle’s next match, which comes against Aston Villa in Championship action at the weekend.
