Rangers take on Dundee in the Scottish Premiership this evening.

Rangers are back in action this evening as they take on Dundee at Ibrox, with Steven Gerrard looking for a third win in a row in all competitions.
With 5-0 wins over Kilmarnock and Hamilton Academical over the last week, Gerrard’s side have been superb since a disappointing home stalemate with St Johnstone.
Gerrard may still need to rotate some of his side though, and he thought that January signing Matt Polster would be unavailable tonight.
Gerrard told Rangers TV that Polster was a ‘big doubt’ for tonight’s game with a tight groin, seemingly ruling him out of contention.
That was a blow for Gerrard, as he admitted that he had plans to involve Polster against Dundee, but his injury problem was set to ruin those plans.
Intriguingly though, a gallery of training images on Rangers’ official website showed Polster in training on Tuesday afternoon along with his teammates.

Polster may well be fighting to play tonight as a result, and may salvage Gerrard’s plans to get him involved, potentially from the bench as cover for James Tavernier at right back.
The American has yet to feature since his January move from Chicago Fire, but Gerrard may have some renewed hope of utilising him against Dundee having taken part in training.
