Rondon has been an important player for West Brom this season.

Matt Phillips has admitted that he has been taken aback by how good West Bromwich Albion teammate Salomon Rondon actually is, the Express and Star reports.
The Venezuelan has made a promising start to the season, having scored three goals in the Premier League already, including the winner against Crystal Palace and the dramatic equaliser at Stoke.

And summer signing Phillips has explained how fortunate he feels to be working alongside the 27-year-old every day in training.
“I can’t sing his praises enough, he’s a top player,” he said, as reported by the Express and Star.

“If you provide him with service, he’s going to score. I didn’t realise how good he was until I came here.”
The partnership the pair strike up could be hugely important to Tony Pulis’ side in future. The duo have featured in every one of the Baggies’ league games this term, and with the side lacking options on the wing and up front, it is likely that they will both continue to feature prominently.

And if the pair can develop a solid understanding, that will surely go a long way to helping West Brom put themselves in contention for a place in the top-half of the table.
But Phillips is clearly confident that if he manages to keep putting the ball in towards Rondon, the side will have little problem bagging the goals they need to move up the table.
