Wolverhampton Wanderers have been linked with Robbie Keane in the January transfer window.

Matt Murray has suggested on social networking site Twitter that Robbie Keane will not join Wolverhampton Wanderers in the January transfer window.
The Mirror recently claimed that Wolves are interested in signing former Tottenham Hotspur and Leeds United striker Keane.
The former Republic of Ireland international striker, who is on the books of Indian Super League team ATK at the moment, started his professional club football career at Wolves.

It would be a stunning and very emotional return for Keane, given that Wolves are going strong in the Championship this season and look set to win automatic promotion to the Premier League.
Speaking on the Transfer Centre show on Sky Sports Main Evening last Thursday morning (11:22am, January 4, 2018), former West Ham United striker Tony Cottee said: “I think it would be a good move, certainly from Robbie’s point of view.”
It would be a headline-making transfer, but former Wolves goalkeeper Murray, 36, has suggested that the 37-year-old former Liverpool striker and ex-teammate will not return to the Molineux Stadium.
Murray was on the books of Wolves from 1998 until 2010 and is a former teammate of Keane.

Wolves are at the top of the Championship table at the moment with 61 points from 26 matches.
Nuno’s side are playing beautiful football, and the Wanderers look set to win the league title and earn automatic rotten to the Premier League at the end of the season.
