Former Wolverhampton Wanderers goalkeeper says Rob Edwards deserves a chance.
Wolves’ fans celebrate their second goal
Former Wolves goalkeeper Matt Murray says the club should consider giving Rob Edwards a fair chance of earning the manager’s job permanently.
Edwards is currently the caretaker manager after Walter Zenga was fired as boss earlier this week.

Wolves are yet to name a successor, although the Birmingham Mail list former Porto boss Vitor Pereira as a surprise contender.
With the well connected Jorge Mendes closely linked to Wolves owner Jeff Shi, it would not be a shock to see Wolves move for a big name, but Murray believes Edwards should get an opportunity.
Wolves face Blackburn Rovers on Saturday evening, and it is conceivable they could still make an appointment before the weekend.
The game is a winnable one, so if Edwards is still in charge by the weekend and leads the team to a convincing victory, he will begin to become a more credible option to continue in the role until the end of the current season at least.
