Luis Suarez opened the scoring for Barca when he found the net against his former club in the 26th minute.
Argentine club Lionel Messi doubled the advantage for the Spanish and European giants in the 75th minute, and made it 3-0 on 86 minutes with a stunning free kick.
Southampton legend Le Tissier has taken a dig at Liverpool on Twitter by claiming that the Reds are Barcelona’s feeder club.
In recent years, Barca have signed Philippe Coutinho, Javier Mascherano and Luis Suarez.
Interestingly, Liverpool have signed a number of players from Le Tissier’s former club Southampton.
The Reds have secured the services of the likes of Adam Lallana, Dejan Lovren, Sadio Mane, Virgil van Dijk and Danny Ings over the past few years.
