Ronald Koeman left Southampton for Everton in the summer of 2016.

Not many Southampton fans will have been happy when Ronald Koeman left the club for Everton in the summer of 2016.
During his two seasons at St. Mary’s Stadium, Koeman guided the Saints to seventh and sixth in the Premier League table.
The Dutchman was successful at Everton last season, as the Toffees finished as high as seventh in the standings.

The 2017-18 campaign, though, has been disappointing so far for the Merseyside outfit, who currently find themselves in the bottom three of the Premier League.
Earlier today, Everton announced that they have parted company with Koeman, and it remains to be seen who replaces the Dutchman.
Southampton legend Matt Le Tissier has taken to social networking site Twitter to send a message to the Everton fans following the exit of Koeman.

Southampton finished eighth in the Premier League table last season, and under manager Mauricio Pellegrino, the Saints are 10th in the standings at the moment with 12 points from nine matches.
