The Sunderland manager is without a win in his first eight games this season.

Matt Le Tissier has explained to Sky Sports why he is starting to feel sorry for David Moyes at Sunderland.
The former Everton and Manchester United manager took charge of the Black Cats in the summer following Sam Allardyce’s departure.
His time in charge has not begun well, though, as his side has failed to pick up a win in their first eight games of the campaign.
Saturday afternoon saw them put in arguably their worst performance to date, as they were comfortably beaten 2-0 by fellow strugglers Stoke City.

It left them bottom of the table and four points from safety and Le Tissier says he is starting to feel sorry for the Black Cats boss.
“I almost feel a little bit sorry David Moyes because when the games not going your way you need to look at the bench and think ‘what can I do to change this?’” he told Sky Sports.
“But you look at the Sunderland bench and there’s nobody. If you’re in that position as a manager you must fear the worst when you go behind in games.”

In fairness to Moyes the current injury crisis surrounding the club has not helped him so far.
Sunderland currently have the worst injury record in the Premier League at present, with eight of their first-team stars currently on the treatment table.
That has severely limited his options and perhaps when one or two of those men come back, results will start to improve.
