Visitors Wolves had 70% of the possession, took 17 shots of which two were on target, and earned nine corners, according to BBC Sport.
The result against Wolves means that Southampton are 16th in the Premier League table at the moment with 36 points from 33 matches.
The Saints are as many as eight points above the relegation zone and appear safe from the dreaded drop to the Championship.
