Southampton have won against Everton in the Premier League.

Matt Le Tissier has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Southampton’s win against Everton on Saturday afternoon.
Southampton have got the better of Everton 2-1 at St. Mary’s Stadium in the Premier League.
After a goalless first half, James Ward-Prowse put the home team in the lead just five minutes into the second half.
An own goal from Lucas Digne saw the Saints go 2-0 up on 64 minutes, and Gylfi Sigurdsson found the net for Everton in the first minute of injury time.
Southampton legend Le Tissier was following the match, and he was pleased with the final result.
Le Tissier has also praised Ward-Prowse for his finish and has hailed manager Ralph Hasenhuttl.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at St. Mary’s Stadium, hosts Southampton had 39% of the possession, took 11 shots of which four were on target, and earned seven corners, according to BBC Sport.
The win against Everton means that the Saints are now 15th in the Premier League table with 22 points from 23 matches, three points above the relegation zone.
