Tottenham Hotspur are still in with a chance of winning all four competitions this season.
Matt Le Tissier suggested that Tottenham have enough to finish in third place in the Premier League table this season, when speaking exclusively to Sky Sports.
Spurs currently occupy third spot in the table, and sit nine points adrift of league leaders Liverpool, although they are four points clear of fourth placed Chelsea, and a further three ahead of Arsenal and Manchester United.
Mauricio Pochettino has worked wonders since taking over at Tottenham in the summer of 2014, and it is quite incredible how he has transformed them into genuine title contenders on what has been an extremely limited transfer budget.
With injuries to some of their key players, however, finishing in side the top four might now be a realistic target for them.
Le Tissier backed them to do just that, when speaking exclusively to Sky Sports, suggesting that they have enough to finish in third spot:
“I think Spurs have got more than enough to secure the third place, it depends how long Kane is out for but Son is back the first week in February so they should be okay.”
Cup competitions aside, Tottenham have an extremely winnable run of games in the Premier league on the horizon, with three consecutive home matches against Watford, Newcastle United and Leicester City next up on the agenda.
And if Spurs manage to take nine points from those outings, they will be in a great position from which to secure Champions League football once again.
