Newcastle United actually have former Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce in charge for this campaign.

Villa were the most active Premier League side in the transfer market, with 14 new players joining Dean Smith’s side this summer.
Newcastle, on the other hand, lost Rafael Benitez much to the frustration of their supporters.
Newcastle opted to bring in Steve Bruce, but they did back him with considerable funds, with Allan Saint Maximin and Joelinton making eye catching additions.
And Le Tissier has suggested that Villa may well finish below Newcastle this season.
“Newcastle should have enough to keep clear of the relegation battle but Brighton and Aston Villa will be in the mix,” he said.

Le Tissier actually had Newcastle in 15th place, while he picked Villa to finish 17th.
In truth, both Newcastle and Villa may be satisfied with those finishing positions if they were offered them now.
Villa have shown great ambition since promotion and insist that they are not just in the Premier League to fight against relegation, but, in their first season back in the top flight, if they finish above the bottom three it will have to be seen as a success.
