West Ham United’s Ashley Fletcher has a shot at goal
Speaking to Sky Sports, Matt Le Tissier has said that youngster Ashley Fletcher was the one positive from West Ham’s Europa League exit.
The Hammers were left hugely disappointed on Thursday as they fell to a 1-0 defeat to Astra Giurgiu at the London Stadium.
That result saw them crashing out of Europe after they had only managed a 1-1 draw in the first leg.
There were a number of poor performances in the game, but one man who shone was Fletcher, who put in a highly impressive display after coming on as a second-half substitute.

And Le Tissier has praised him, saying he thinks that the striker has a bright future in the game.
“One of the positives to come out of Thursday was Ashley Fletcher,” he told Sky Sports.
“He came on as a sub and looked really dangerous. He’s a young lad making his way in the game but I think he’s got a bright future ahead of him.”

While Fletcher has gained some first-team football so far, a loan move could be a wise choice for him at this moment in time.
With Simone Zaza set to arrive and a possible loan move for Wilfried Bony also on the cards, he is unlikely to see much more game time this season.
That would not be ideal for his development and seeking a loan deal could be a wise choice for him and West Ham.
