Tottenham Hotspur won against Huddersfield Town in the Premier League at the weekend.
The Southampton legend now works as a pundit for Sky Sports and was watching the Premier League match for the Gillette Soccer Saturday show on Sky Sports News this past Saturday afternoon.
Son, who can operate as a winger or as a forward, was the star of the show for Spurs, as the South Korea international scored both the goals in the home team’s win.
Le Tissier was impressed with the performance of the 25-year-old, who joined Tottenham from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2015 for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £22 million.
The former Southampton attacking midfielder also stated – jokingly – that it was unusual for 24-year-old England international striker Harry Kane not to score.
Kane is one of the best strikers in the world and is the joint-leading scorer in the Premier League this season with 24 goals.
Le Tissier jokingly told Sky Sports about Kane not scoring: “I know, yeah, very unusual.”
“Not just the goalscoring, he was, certainly in the first half especially, he was the outstanding player in the Spurs team for me,” Le Tissier said about Son.

Tottenham’s performance against Huddersfield was not exactly great, but Mauricio Pochettino’s side deserved to win the game.
It was a very important victory, as it has enhanced Spurs’ chances of finishing in the top four of the Premier League this season.
