Everton’s Oumar Niasse impressed for Sam Allardyce’s side on Saturday.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Matt Le Tissier has singled out Everton attacker Oumar Niasse for praise following Saturday’s 3-1 win over Crystal Palace at Goodison Park.
The 27-year-old scored one and set up another as Sam Allardyce’s side bounced back from the 5-1 mauling at Arsenal last weekend.
In doing so, Niasse grabbed his seventh Premier League goal in what was his eighth start of the season.

It represents quite a turnaround for the Senegal international, whose long-term Toffees career looked bleak after a modest loan spell at Hull City during the second half of last season.
And Le Tissier believes that the £13.5 million addition by Ronald Koeman two years ago deserves credit.
He told Sky Sports: “You’ve got to give Niasse credit. He was ridiculed a lot and you never thought he had a future at Everton, but there he is, sticking another header away for his seventh Premier League goal of the season.

“Only Wayne Rooney has got more goals than him this season.”
Niasse is a decent striker, but decent is where it stops. Realistically, he isn’t going to score 20 Premier League goals for Everton and therefore probably won’t have a huge role to play in the long term, but he is a handy option to have until Cenk Tosun gets his shooting boots on.
