Manchester United host Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League this weekend at Old Trafford.

Ahead of Manchester United’s Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford, Matt Le Tissier has picked a combined XI made up of United’s and Spurs’ players for Sky Sports, and it is first blood for Mauricio Pochettino as Le Tissier names seven of his squad in his combined side.
While Le Tissier picks De Gea in goal, he is the only member of the back five available to Jose Mourinho this weekend, with the combined defence consisting entirely of Spurs players, with the Southampton legend picking Kieran Trippier, Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld and Danny Rose.

United do have control of the holding midfield area with Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba edging out the likes of Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama.
The only area of the team that includes a mix of United and Tottenham players is the three playing off the striker, with Marcus Rashford joining Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen in the side.

The area that may have perhaps been the toughest for Le Tissier to decide upon was up front, with Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku boasting 15 Premier League goals between them already this term. However, it is the man who tops the scoring charts currently, one clear of Lukaku who gets picked. And Le Tissier explained to Sky Sports why he made that decision.
