Do Tottenham Hotspur need to sign players in the January transfer window?

The Southampton legend has also suggested what Tottenham need to do in the January transfer window.
The Sky Sports pundit has suggested that Spurs should sign a player who can play behind star striker Harry Kane.
Le Tissier has also suggested that Spurs could do with a back-up goalkeeper as well as a back-up striker to Kane.
The former England international has also claimed that Dier, who can operate as a defender or as a defensive midfielder, has been poor this season.

“I would probably say another option to play in one of the three spots behind Harry Kane,” Le Tissier told Sky Sports.
“As soon as one of Dele Alli, Heung-min Son or Christian Eriksen are injured you are looking at Moussa Sissoko coming in to replace them, so maybe somebody who can offer something a bit different with pace and quality.
“I guess a better back-up goalkeeper would help but it is a similar situation to finding a better back up to Harry Kane, as not many top players want to sit on the bench.
“I think Eric Dier has been poor this season but they’ve got Victor Wanyama to come in, so in general I would say they are pretty solid.”

Dier is one of the best players in the current Tottenham team, but the England international’s performances have not been great so far this season.
The 24-year-old former Sporting Lisbon star has been inconsistent, although fans should optimistic that the versatile player will get his rhythm back soon.
Spurs are not going to win the Premier League title this season, but the North London outfit can still end up in the top four.
