West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic is fighting to save his job at the London Stadium.
West Ham take on Spurs this evening, and Bilic may ordinarily have been tempted to rotate in the League Cup.
However, Le Tissier does not believe that the Croatian boss can afford to take any chances, given the pressure he is under at the London Stadium.
“He’ll have to put a fairly strong team out to give himself half a chance,” Bilic said.
“I don’t think he can think about dropping 10 players, as he doesn’t have the quality of player underneath him to give Tottenham a game.
“He would be foolish to go in there and start sticking 10 reserves in there.”
West Ham go into the game against Spurs after falling to defeat against Brighton & Hove Albion in their latest outing.
The 3-0 loss to the newly promoted side last Friday has heaped pressure on Bilic, with the Croatian manager now facing calls for him to be sacked.
West Ham go into tonight’s match against Spurs as heavy underdogs, but they are set to face a slightly weakened Tottenham side.
Mauricio Pochettino has promised to rotate his line-up for the fixture, and that may give West Ham some hope of pulling off an upset.
