West Ham United have been linked with a move for Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter in the January transfer window.

According to The Times, West Ham want to sign Arter from Premier League rivals Bournemouth this month.

The Hammers could do with another new midfielder, and manager David Moyes has reportedly identified the Republic of Ireland international as a January target.

Arter has been on the books of Bournemouth since 2010 and has established himself as an important player for the Cherries.
