West Ham United lost against Watford at Vicarage Road in the Premier League at the weekend.

As reported by The Independent, former Manchester United and Everton manager Moyes has been handed a six-month contract at West Ham.
The Hammers are struggling for survival in the Premier League at the moment and are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
Former Southampton attacking midfielder Le Tissier has questioned why West Ham have given Moyes just a six-month contract.

Le Tissier said on the Gillette Soccer Saturday show on Sky Sports News last Saturday afternoon (12:34pm, November 18, 2017): “The six-month contract, I don’t understand why they have done that. Why would you put somebody in there for six months?
“The players are looking at that and going, ‘Well, actually, six months, the board obviously haven’t got that much confidence in him. What’s he doing taking our team?'”
Meanwhile, Liverpool legend Phil Thompson praised Moyes for his press conference last week ahead of the Premier League game against Watford at Vicarage Road at the weekend.

Thompson said on the Gillette Soccer Saturday show on Sky Sports News last Saturday afternoon (12:33pm, November 18, 2017): “I thought his press conference was absolutely terrific. He has let people know where you stand.”
The Hammers lost 2-0 to Watford on Sunday evening, and former West Ham manager Alan Pardew has pointed out Moyes’s team failure to create chances.
“I don’t think they created great chances today, not enough for a West Ham team,” Pardew told Sky Sports after the match.
“Lanzini, Arnautovic, Carroll were quiet today, and these are the type of players who should give the team a lift on match day by getting goals and creating goals.”
