Daniel Sturridge is out of contract at Liverpool at the end of the season.

Daniel Sturridge of Liverpool takes a shot at goal during the Premier League match between Liverpool FC and Huddersfield Town at Anfield on April 26, 2019 in Liverpool, England.

Southampton legend Matt Le Tissier suggested on the Gillette Soccer Saturday show on Sky Sports News on Saturday afternoon (12:23pm, April 27, 2019) that Daniel Sturridge will not be at Liverpool next season.

Sturridge is out of contract at Liverpool at the end of the season, and no new deal is in place for the former Chelsea and Manchester City striker.

The 29-year-old striker started the Premier League game for the Reds against Huddersfield Town at Anfield last Friday evening.

The England international did not have a good game on a personal level and failed to score.

Le Tissier believes that Sturridge will not be at Liverpool next season, and has suggested that the striker finds a club where he can play regularly.

Le Tissier said on the Gillette Soccer Saturday show on Sky Sports News on Saturday afternoon (12:23pm, April 27, 2019) when asked if people have seen the last of Sturridge: “Yeah, I do. I would be surprised if he was still there at the start of next season. For his own good really.

“Was that his second Premier League start of the season? I think for his own good, for his career, he has got to go and be somewhere where he is going to play games on a regular basis.”
