Wolverhampton Wanderers have struggled in front of goal in recent weeks.

Wolves ace Matt Doherty spoke exclusively to the Express & Star about his side’s start to their Premier League campaign, and predicted that they will dish out a ‘hiding’ to someone soon.
The Black Country outfit have made a decent start to their 2018/19 campaign, and currently sit in 10th position in the Premier League table, having taken 15 points from their opening 10 league outings.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side look like the real deal, but they haven’t been quite as clinical in front of goal this season as they were last term.
Doherty, who has played in every one of Wolves’ Premier League games so far this season, told the Express & Star how he believes his side will dish out a thrashing very soon:

“One day it’ll come and we’ll give someone a hiding. At Brighton I felt we couldn’t really have done much more other than put the ball in the net.”
Next up for Wolves is a home game against Tottenham on Saturday night, and Doherty and co will have to be at their very best, if they are to have any chance whatsoever of beating Mauricio Pochettino’s men.
