Tottenham Hotspur claimed a 1-0 win on Sunday afternoon, as they narrowly beat West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns.
Spurs headed to the Midlands seeing three points that would send them temporarily top of the Premier League table, and they just about managed it.
Harry Kane bagged an 88th minute winner, heading home Matt Doherty’s cross to give Tottenham all three points in a battling display.
It wasn’t vintage Spurs by any stretch of the imagination, but they got the job done – just as they did against Burnley last month.
Spurs’ time at the top didn’t last long as Leicester City claimed top spot with a 1-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers, but they are at least second in the Premier League table.
After the game, a number of Tottenham players took to Twitter to react to the win, with Moussa Sissoko celebrating three wins in eight days.

Summer signings Matt Doherty and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg were delighted with the win, whilst veteran defender Toby Alderweireld felt Spurs just had to find a way to win.
That’s something that has been strongly associated with Jose Mourinho’s sides over the years, and this is at least an encouraging sign for Spurs fans.
