The pair joined Rangers at the same time, but only one remains at Ibrox.

Rangers fans rejoiced earlier in the week when James Tavernier signed a new deal at the club. Now they have double the reason to be happy, with Josh Windass extending his contract until 2021.
The 24-year-old has established himself as one of the best players at Ibrox and Rangers fans have been fearing for some time that he might be on his way out of the club.

Plenty of teams in the English Championship have been linked with his services but it seems that Windass is happy in Glasgow and will not be going anywhere in the immediate future.
After the signing of the deal was announced Windass had plenty of well-wishers online, including one former Rangers team-mate.
The player in question is Matt Crooks. The 24-year-old centre-back or holding midfielder sent windass this message on Twitter:
Of course the pair both signed for Rangers at the same time. They had been plucked from Accrington Stanley, where the duo had established themselves as two of the best young players in the English lower leagues.
But whilst Windass has gone on to become a vital member of the Rangers first-team, Crooks simply never cut the mustard at Ibrox.

He made just two league appearances for the club before spending time on loan at Scunthorpe United and eventually joining Northampton Town in the summer.
Windass will hope he can continue to thrive at Rangers, whilst Crooks does his best to rebuild his once burgeoning reputation.
