Manchester United star wins individual accolade again.
Manchester United’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan scores
Manchester United ace Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored again last night against Rostov, his seventh goal of the season.
And today he was handed an award from the Red Devils, winning another goal of the month accolade for his strike against Leicester City in early February.
Mkhitaryan, a £26 million summer signing from Borussia Dortmund, previously won the club award for his infamous backheel flick against Sunderland.
After thanking the Red Devils for the recognition, Mkhitaryan was praised by former Dortmund teammate Mats Hummels, who joked about the increasing regularity the Armenian is picking up the awards.
Hummels left Dortmund last summer along with Mkhitaryan, signing for Bayern Munich.
He would have been a great addition for United if they could have persuaded him, but perhaps one day he will be tempted by reuniting with his outstanding former teammate.
