Leeds United boss Thomas Christiansen has already explained what type of players he wants to add at Elland Road.

Leeds United new boy Mateusz Klich’s initial comments to the Yorkshire Evening Post, make him sound like the perfect addition for Thomas Christiansen.

Christiansen said in his first interview at Leeds, that he wanted players ready to give their all for the team.

“I want to have players who are ambitious, and want to give 100%,” Christiansen said to Radio Yorkshire.

“They have to feel proud of where they are and to give everything. If we succeed in that, we have taken a big step forward.”

And Klich’s initial comments after signing for Leeds, make him sound as if he will fit in at Elland Road seamlessly.

Klich has penned a three-year contract at Leeds, and has promised to give his all to make a success of himself at the Yorkshire club

“I am more of a creative midfielder but of course I am not afraid to fight and I will give 100% on the pitch for the three points and for the win in games,” Klich explained to the YEP.

Klich has become Christiansen’s first signing at Leeds, and the pressure will be on him to hit the ground running.

The Polish international is likely to have an important role for the Whites next season, as he looks to be one of the major creative influences in their squad.

Leeds have now made two signings this summer, with Hadi Sacko also arriving on a permanent deal.

Leeds’ first fixture of next season comes on 6th August, when they take on Bolton Wanderers at the Macron Stadium.
