The Leeds United midfielder joined the club on Friday.

New Leeds United signing Mateusz Klich has suggested to LUTV that he was aware of Chris Wood’s goalscoring heroics last season before joining the club.
The 27-year-old midfielder joined Leeds on a three-year deal from Eredivisie side FC Twente on Friday morning.

He becomes the Whites’ second summer signing and first since Thomas Christiansen was named as head coach at the Elland Road club.
The Poland international comes into a team which finished seventh in the Championship last season, with Wood enjoying a fantastic 27-goal season which almost led Leeds to a Premier League playoff spot last term.
And Klich has told LUTV that he is aware of the New Zealand striker, though admits he admits he was not hugely familiar with the club last season.

“To be honest I didn’t see the games [last season] but of course I know the striker who scored a lot of goals. I heard the team is good and they want to play football.
“The coach also wants to play football so these are things I really want to hear. That’s the most important thing.”
Klich could make his competitive debut for Leeds on August 7 when Christiansen’s side travel to newly-promoted Bolton Wanderers.
