Leeds United completed their second signing of the summer today, bringing in Mateusz Klich from FC Twente.
Leeds United new boy Mateusz Klich has told the Yorkshire Evening Post that he has already been impressed with Elland Road.
Klich joined Leeds from FC Twente earlier today, with the midfielder signing a three-year deal at the Yorkshire club.
And Klich claims that he cannot wait to get started with the Whites, as he has been very impressed with their home ground.
“My first impressions of the club are really good,” Klich said.
“The stadium is really nice, it has a really English style in the sense that everything is really close and I am really looking forward to playing in the stadium with the atmosphere. Everything so far is good.”
Klich is expected to have a key role to play for Leeds next season, as the Whites go for promotion.
The Polish international scored six goals and claimed four assists for FC Twente in the Dutch top flight last season.
Klich was actually identified for Leeds by former boss Garry Monk.
Klich has become Thomas Christiansen’s first signing at Elland Road, and Leeds’ second new addition of the summer- after the Whites also brought in Hadi Sacko on a permanent transfer from Sporting Lisbon last month.
