Leeds midfielder has been impressing on loan.

Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich was hailed as somewhat of a hero earlier this week after a fantastic performance for Dutch side Utrecht.

The Poland international created 11 goalscoring chances against Heracles, the highest in an Eredivisie game for six years.

It made a mockery of Leeds giving him just one league start and utilising him as a defensive midfielder when they did select him.

Klich saw plenty of compliments come his way following the win and responded to a Leeds United supporter who explained how keen he was to see him back.

This is an upbeat Klich who is enjoying his football, unlike the seemingly miserable figure who moped around late in 2017.

Klich was noted for liking tweets suggesting he was undeservedly overlooked by former manager Thomas Christiansen.

Recent evidence shows Christiansen was probably wrong, and he will return to Leeds looking rejuvenated and looking for a fresh start.

The compliments from Leeds fans won’t have gone unnoticed and hopefully for the club, the midfielder will be keen to prove himself under a new manager next season, whoever that may be.
