Leeds loanee congratulated Whites star.

Leeds United striker Caleb Ekuban scored a much needed goal at the weekend as the Whites recorded just their second win of 2018.

Ekuban’s goal against Bolton Wanderers was his first Championship goal for the club, and a much needed one.

Major doubts were beginning to creep in over whether he is good enough for this level, and while one goal against a struggling side does not answer them, it was a step in the right direction.

Ekuban was congratulated on his goal by fellow Leeds United 2017 signing, Mateusz Klich.

Klich is out on loan at Dutch side FC Twente after a disappointing start to the campaign.

Ekuban posted on his Instagram page after his goal, before Klich responded.

Ekuban is hoping to keep his place for Leeds United’s tough fixture away to Fulham on Tuesday night.

Klich meanwhile has played in nine games for loan side Utrecht, providing one assist.
