Mateusz Klich says Pablo Hernandez Leeds United’s best player

Pablo Hernandez is playing well for Leeds United at the moment.

Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich has told The Yorkshire Evening Post that Pablo Hernandez is the best player in the team.

The 28-year-old Poland international – who has been on the books of Leeds since the summer of 2017 when he joined from FC Twente and when Thomas Christiansen was in charge of the Whites – has said that he enjoys playing with Hernandez, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger.

Klich told The Yorkshire Evening Post about Hernandez: ”I think Pablo is our best player and probably one of the best in the whole league.

“It’s very nice to have him and to play with him because if you have good footballers around you it’s easier to play and it’s a pleasure to play with him.”

Hernandez is one of the best attacking players in the Championship and is very popular among the Elland Road faithful, and the 33-year-old former Valencia and Swansea City star is probably too good for the second tier of English football.

The Spaniard has made 28 starts and two substitute appearances in the Championship for Leeds so far this season, scoring 10 goals and providing 11 assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

As for Klich, the Poland international midfielder has made 37 appearances in the league for the Whites so far this campaign, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
