Mateusz Klich left Leeds United on loan this week.

Leeds United sanctioned Mateusz Klich’s exit on Monday.
The Polish midfielder has joined FC Utrecht on a loan deal until the end of the season after a trying first six months in West Yorkshire.
Klich, a £1.5 million signing from the Dutch outfit in the summer, had only started one Championship game for the Whites all season.

The writing had been on the wall for months, but the signing of Adam Forshaw certainly put paid to the 27-year-old’s hopes of breaking into Leeds’ midfield on a regular basis.
It would be a push to say that he was a fan favourite at Elland Road, but at least one young Leeds supporter liked him and his father tweeted owner Andrea Radrizzani, with the boy having Klich’s name on the back of his shirt.

But it seems like Klich is planning a return to United at some point after promising to sign the shirt.
