Leeds United missed their third penalty in a row on the final day of the Championship season.

It appears that Leeds may have stopped practising penalties during the staggering 59-game run that saw go without being awarded a spot-kick before they were finally given one in December.
The Whites have now missed their last three penalties, with Kemar Roofe joining Pablo Hernandez and Patrick Bamford in missing from 12 yards in the last few weeks as he skied his effort in the 3-2 defeat to Ipswich on the final day of the Championship season.
With a penalty shootout an outcome that Marcelo Bielsa may want to consider planning for in the coming weeks, there is likely to be a lot of scrutiny on Leeds’ poor success rate from the spot.
But it appears that one supporter has had an idea – and it is a suggestion that has been backed by one Whites star on social media.

Mateusz Klich has liked a tweet from a supporter urging Bielsa to let the Poland international take the responsibility the next time Leeds are awarded a penalty…
It is easy to forget that Klich’s most notable contribution during his first season at Elland Road came from the penalty spot, when he produced an outrageously composed spot-kick during a shootout with Burnley in the Carabao Cup.
And with Klich taking his tally into double figures with a fine goal in the loss at Portman Road, you can see why the midfielder may feel that he deserves the chance to step up the next time the referee points to the spot.
