His recent start in the FA Cup defeat to Newport County was uninspiring and did not help his cause.
Sacko’s only meaningful contribution this season was a goal in the Carabao Cup against Burnley back in mid-September.
Leeds believed in him enough to sign him permanently last summer but he is not a big part of manager Thomas Christiansen’s plans.
A loan move is exactly what he needs right now to start improving and gain the confidence he needs in order to start challenging for a place at Leeds next season.
