The Burnley and Derby County players are reportedly on the verge of swapping clubs.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Burnley and Derby County are trying to engineer a swap deal involving Nahki Wells and Matěj Vydra, and if the Clarets manage to pull it off, it would be quite excellent business for Sean Dyche’s side.
The Daily Mail claims that Vydra would join Burnley permanently, while Wells would link up with Derby on loan.
The 26-year-old Czech Republic international is a real talent, and he would provide Dyche’s side with much more of a cutting edge in the final third.
He can operate as a number 10 or as an out and out striker – something that would provide Dyche with more in-game tactical flexibility.
Wells has failed to make an impact since moving to Turf Moor in the summer of 2017, and Burnley would be a far more dangerous prospect with Vydra amongst their ranks.

The Derby hitman is rated at around £11 million, according to the Daily Mail, and his arrival at Burnley would be a huge boost to Dyche’s hopes of guiding his side to another top seven finish this season.
Vydra scored 22 goals in the Championship last term, and if he manages to make a smooth transition to the Premier League, it could turn out to be an excellent piece of business for the Clarets.
