Some Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Thiago Alcantara against Ukraine on Sunday evening.
Thiago has been linked with a move to Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
According to The Mirror in August and Bleacher Report in September, the Premier League champions are interested in signing the 29-year-old Spain international central midfielder from Bayern this summer.
The former Barcelona star was in action for Spain in their UEFA Nations League Group A4 game.
Thiago started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the home team won 4-0.
The Bayern star had yet another superb game, as he set the tempo for his side and was influential in the middle of the park.
According to WhoScored, Thiago took one shot which was not on target, played two key passes, had a pass accuracy of 94.7%, won one header, took 111 touches, attempted one dribble, made four tackles, and put in five crosses.
Liverpool will kick off their 2020-21 Premier League campaign this coming Saturday when they take on Leeds United at Anfield.
It remains to be seen if the Reds are able to sign Thiago before then, but some Liverpool fans were impressed with the central midfielder again on Sunday, as shown below on Twitter.
