He might turn 31 tomorrow, but Arsenal hitman Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang clearly isn’t losing any of that electric speed.

The Gunners resume their Premier League campaign with a trip to Manchester City tonight.

It’ll be Arsenal’s first competitive outing since March 7 due to the global health crisis.

Mikel Arteta’s side have been back training at London Colney for a few weeks in preparation for Project Restart and Aubameyang certainly looks like he’s never been away.

Arsenal uploaded a video on Twitter of their star striker jetting away from Rob Holding and calmly slotting home, as he has been doing for fun this season.

Here’s how fans of the North London club reacted to the footage on Twitter:

With Aubameyang reportedly angling for a new big-money contract, the former Borussia Dortmund star, who has 49 Premier League goals in 75 appearances, could make a big statement against the Citizens tonight.

If he could fire Arsenal to victory then it’ll be a big, big message to the club’s hierarchy and with only one year left on his contract, they need to sign him up as soon as possible.
