Gary Neville has raved about Arsenal central defender William Saliba on Sky Sports Premier League (10:04pm, August 5, 2022) following the match against Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
The former Manchester United star was impressed by what he saw from Saliba on his Premier League debut against Palace in the London derby on Friday evening.
Mikel Arteta’s won the match 2-0.
France international central defender Saliba started the game and played for the entire 90 minutes.
It was the 21-year-old’s first match in the Premier League for Arsenal, and Sky Sports pundit Neville was impressed.

In our view, William Saliba was superb for Arsenal against Crystal Palace in the London derby on Friday evening.
Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher was so impressed by the 21-year-old that he gave him the Man of the Match award.
The France international was brilliant at the back, made the right tackles and the right challenges at the right time, passed the ball from defence perfectly, and did not take any unnecessary risks.
Saliba was very calm and composed on the ball and read the game well.
