Leeds United defender Kyle Bartley has told The Sheffield Telegraph that Jordan Rhodes will be a massive threat for Sheffield Wednesday.

The Whites and Wednesday will face each other at Elland Road in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

Rhodes could start for the Owls. The 27-year-old striker joined Wednesday on loan from Premier League club Middlesbrough in the January transfer window.

The Scotland international has scored one goal and created seven chances in four Championship appearances for the Owls so far this season.

Bartley, who is 25 years of age, plays as a centre-back and moved to Leeds on a season-long loan deal from Premier League side Swansea City in the summer of 2016, believes that Rhodes will be a massive threat to his team.

“His goalscoring record speaks for itself, it’s a massive threat for them – but we have dealt with it before,” Bartley told The Sheffield Telegraph about Rhodes.

Leeds are fifth in the Championship table at the moment with 58 points from 33 matches.

The Whites are genuine playoff contenders this season and will fancy their chances of picking up all three points against Wednesday.

The Owls are also aiming to finish in the top six of the Championship this season.
