Some Crystal Palace fans on social media are absolutely buzzing after The Athletic claimed that they’re closing in on a deal to sign Marc Guehi from Chelsea.
The Eagles are reportedly set to sign the young defender from their London rivals, and as you can imagine, supporters are over the moon with this.
Guehi was one of the standout defenders in the Championship last term on loan with Swansea City, and he represents another talented young addition for Palace after the arrival of Michael Olise.
Palace certainly need a rebuild this summer after a mass exodus at the end of last season as numerous players’ contracts expired, and it seems as though they’re going the right way about it by signing young, up and coming players to build their squad around.
