Wolves fans have taken to Twitter to react after the club announced that Jonny Otto had signed a new contract at Molineux.

The 3-cap Spain international has endured a turbulent time of late due to some troublesome injuries.

However, the club have showed their faith in the 26-year-old by handing him a new five-year contract which ties him to Wolves until 2025.

Jonny recently made his long-awaited comeback when he played the first 45 minutes of the 0-0 draw against Leicester.

A serious knee injury had robbed Wolves of his many talents, although it now looks as if he can get his head down and work again with his future secured.

The Vigo-born left-back has made 88 appearances for the Old Gold, scoring three goals and assisting a further five.

He’s also never been red carded while at Wolves.

He has impressed so much since arriving from Celta Vigo that he even earned caps for Spain, which speaks volumes given the nation’s vast talent.

Jonny is clearly a very popular man in the Midlands, judging by how the supporters on Twitter reacted to his contract extension.
