Leeds United chairman Massimo Cellino has criticised Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi on Premium Sport, as reported by Inter News and translated by Sport Witness.

Icardi is a key player for Inter, but Cellino has claimed that the 23-year-old striker is always in the headlines for the wrong reasons.

As explained in this report in The Sun, there are problems between the Argentina international and the Inter fans.

Leeds chairman Cellino, a former owner of Italian club Cagliari, has given his thoughts on the ex-Sampdoria striker.

Inter are struggling in Serie A at the moment and are unlikely to launch a challenge for the Scudetto this season.

The Nerazzurri are currently 12th in the standings with 14 points from 11 matches, as many as 13 points behind leaders Juventus.

Meanwhile, Leeds are going strong in the Championship in England and are in the running for a top-six finish. The West Yorkshire outfit are ninth in the table at the moment with 23 points from 15 matches.

Garry Monk’s side are just a point behind Bristol City, who are currently sixth in the standings and occupy the final playoff spot.
